Role Responsibility
12-MONTH TEMPORARY POSITION
Maidstone / Remote working
Do you think that the way to improve services is to give your customers an opportunity to be heard? Do you know how to make sure that our partners are engaged and listened to, and that they also understand our priorities? If so, then you could be the person we’re looking for.
We are seeking an experienced engagement officer to work in the Directorate Business and Planning unit within Adult Social Care and Health. This role is part of the Stakeholder Engagement team that works across the whole directorate to improve participation and communications both internally and externally.
You will implement targeted, accessible, end-to-end engagement activities, coordinating workshops, forums and manage online participation for people we support, the council’s partners and its workforce – giving them the opportunity to get involved in shaping adult social care.
This is a hands-on role, and every day will be different, so if you enjoy the buzz of working with a multiskilled team, this role will suit you well. If you have experience of the following activities, then please apply:
- driving meaningful engagement to meet equality objectives across multiple channels
- working closely in partnership with a variety of stakeholder groups
- producing clear, concise communications for a range of audiences
- facilitating public participation workshops.
