We are looking for a person who is:
- motivated, supportive and has inclusion at the heart of what they do.
- experienced in supporting children and young people in educational settings and can bring their knowledge/approaches to the Education Welfare Officer role, working at VSK
- able to work independently, out in settings and as part of a team
- understand
ingsofsafety being paramount for our children/young people - flexible and adaptive to the different needs of our children and young people
- able to communicate well with young people and professionals
- adept at using spreadsheets, along with collecting and interpreting data

This post is 37 hours a week, until 1st April 2023, although this will be reviewed at the end of the financial year. The post is for the West Kent area, so the work base will be at Worrall House in Kings Hill. However, some of the working week will be spent in different educational settings in West Kent (Maidstone, Ashford, Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge & Malling), so the ability to travel across the area in a timely and flexible manner is essential.
