Education Support Officer VSK Advisory Team

Role Responsibility

This post is covering South Kent. This is a Term Time Maternity Cover Contract currently anticipated will be for a minimum of 6 months.

Virtual School Kent supports children and young people in care and supports the education for previously looked after pupils and those who have or have had a Social Worker, with appropriate advice and information in order to achieve and contribute positively to their communities now and in the future. What we are looking for

A person who is:

• motivated, supportive and has inclusion at the heart of what they do.
• experienced in supporting children and young people in educational settings - and can bring their knowledge/approaches to working at VSK
• able to work independently out in settings and as part of a team
• understanding of safety being paramount for our children/young people
• flexible and adaptive to the different needs of our children and young people
