Domestic - Southfields Adult Short Break Service

Role Responsibility

Domestic Assistant

Southfields is a Residential Unit offering Short Breaks for disabled Adults from 16 years old. 

We have a vacancy for a domestic Assistant to join our team to ensure that all areas of the Home and Resource Area are clean, tidy and presentable always, creating a positive and safe environment for the people we support, visitors and staff.

You will work as part of a small team and alone including alternate weekends for which an enhancement is paid.

You will have knowledge of Health and Safety regulations including COSHH, Infection Control and safeguarding, however,  full training will be given during induction period and other relevant training will be undertaken as required.  

Interviews will be conducted under the ‘Choosing with Care’ assessment process

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements.
