Customer Support Assistant - Stock Services

Role Responsibility

We are inviting applications for a Customer Support Assistant within the Stock and Promotions Team for Kent Libraries, Registration and Archives.

Reporting to the Stock and Promotions Team Leader, you will support the provision of Kent’s library service, showing a commitment to customer service for both internal and external customers.

You will receive training to assist with all aspects of the team’s work, including aiding distribution to all service points, accessioning and invoicing new library stock, and providing a postal loan service to Kent’s blind and visually impaired residents.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
