An opportunity has opened up in Kent County Council Adult Social Care and Health directorate to recruit two Community Team Managers to join the Thanet and South Kent Coast leadership team.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our community teams across Kent as we enhance our locality working practice and put the person and good practice at the heart of what we do. We work with adults with a range of care and support needs placing individuals at the centre of their support.
Our social care interventions are structured around the three pillars of excellent practice, exceptional innovation, and meaningful measures. Therefore, our work is orientated around building relationships with the individual and their families and carers. We engage with communities early on to help people feel empowered to find trusted help and support locally from a range of sources.
We are seeking exceptional individuals who have the energy, ideas and ambition to make a sustained difference to the people of Kent; people who share our commitment to improving the health and wellbeing for Kent residents.
As a Community Team Manager you will be responsible for the overall delivery of your locality team, ensuring that statutory responsibilities are met, driving high quality practice in line with our practice framework and providing leadership across the wider area team, working with our partners and local communities to build relationships.
You will have experience of managing operational teams to deliver effective and efficient services within local government or the Health and Social Care sector and able to demonstrate working knowledge of the legal framework and legislation of a Local Authority . You will ensure the effective use of data and quality measures for robust performance management and improve quality of practice through listening to the voice of people we support.
At the heart of this role is leading strength-based practice, seeking opportunities for integrated working to deliver the best outcomes for people we support, and their families. If this sounds like you then please complete an application.
As part of the interview process for this role you will be required to complete Psychometric testing which will be scheduled for week commencing 6th January.
