Cleaner/Caretaker
Role Responsibility
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Kent County Council, Country Parks team who provide leisure, education, events, venue hire and café services across 9 Country Parks in Kent.
The Shorne Woods Country Park, Cleaner /Caretaker role is to provide a high quality front-line Cleaning and minor repairs service to the Visitor Centre, Café and adjoining buildings within the Country Park.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual, with a passion for providing and clean working environment to both staff and customers within a Leisure or Retail setting. It would be beneficial that you have experience of cleaning and or maintenance within a commercial setting.
You will work closely with the Visitor Services, Ranger and Café team to ensure that customers receive a joined up friendly, warm, welcoming experience within a clean and tidy environment, when visiting the park.
You will report to the Visitor Services & Events Manager for Kent Country Parks.
This is a permanent part-time position averaging 10.5 hrs per week, working 3 hours per day 8am to 11am Monday to Sunday for 7 days and then being off shift for 7 days (one week on and one week off).
You will work opposite our other Cleaner/Caretaker.
You will be required to work Bank Holidays and weekends as part of your scheduled shifts.
