This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Kent County Council, Country Parks team who provide leisure, education, events, venue hire and café services across 9 Country Parks in Kent.

The Lullingstone Country Park, Cleaner/Caretaker role provides a high quality front-line cleaning and minor repairs service to the visitor centre, café and adjoining buildings within the Country Park.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual, with a passion for providing a clean working environment for both staff and park visitors. It would be beneficial if you have experience of cleaning within a commercial, retail or leisure setting, although this is not essential.

You will report to the Visitor Experience Manager for Kent Country Parks and work closely on a day to day basis with the Lullingstone duty manager.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.

This is a permanent part-time position working 2 hours per day (8am to 10am) Monday to Sunday alternate weeks (one week on and one week off), averaging 7 hours per week.

You will work opposite our other Cleaner/Caretaker.

You will be required to work bank holidays and weekends as part of your scheduled shifts.

We are also advertising a Country Park Warden position at Lullingstone Country Park which you may also wish to apply for.
