Care Worker

Role Responsibility

Available Positions:

1 x 14 hours per week, 2 x 12.25 hours per week, 1 x 15.375 hours per week and 1 x 31.5 hours per week

Broadmeadow Registered Care Centre are looking to recruit to five Permanent Care Worker positions. You must be flexible, reliable and willing to work a rota which will include early and late shifts, weekends and bank holidays. You should have a Diploma/NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care or demonstrate a willingness to undertake this qualification, and all other mandatory training that will be essential for the role.

You should have experience in health and social care and demonstrate high levels of person-centred care. You must have good communication skills and the ability to interact with service users and their families. You will need to be able to work as part of a team.

We offer a comprehensive induction including The Care Certificate, in-house training, shadowing and regular supervision.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements.
