4 positions available as 1183 hours per annum, averaging 22.68 hours per week
1 position available as 1053 hours per annum, averaging 20.19 hours per week
Westbrook House Integrated Care Centre are looking to recruit to five Permanent Care Worker positions. The service has 30 beds across two units offering provision of various services, ranging from rehabilitation and enablement services through to respite, assessment, and Day care services for older adults and those who are living with dementia.
You should have experience in health and social care, demonstrate high levels of person-centred care and have excellent communication and recording skills. You should be able to interact positively and effectively with service-users, colleagues, carer’s and professionals. You must be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team, and be committed to maximising the independence, choice, rights, and the inclusion of older people.
You must be flexible, reliable, and willing to work a rota which will include early and late shifts, weekends and bank holidays. You should have a Diploma/NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care or demonstrate a willingness to undertake this qualification, and all other mandatory training that will be essential for the role.
Shifts are from 07.00 – 14.30 or 14.00 – 22.00.
You will need to complete a full induction programme.
