Campaigns and Communications Manager - Public Health
Role Responsibility
Are you looking for an opportunity to make a real difference to the health and wellbeing of Kent residents? We are seeking a talented, experienced communications and marketing professional to lead the next phase of our Public Health campaigns and marketing activity.
You will manage a fast paced and creative calendar of marketing and PR activity that inspires residents (and businesses) to make meaningful steps towards healthier lives. As Communications and Campaigns Manager for Kent County Council’s Public Health team you will be in charge of developing and delivering high-quality innovative content across all our channels, managing a modest marketing budget for paid for promotion, as well as seeking opportunities to influence the news agenda through existing organic and editorial routes. As well as proactively looking for marketing opportunities, you will also be the lead for responding to high profile health protection issues, incidents and outbreaks.
We are looking for a team player who wants to make an impact and is a fast learner. You will need the ability to translate complex information into accessible and innovative content. You will be a key player in aligning projects and workloads across the busy Marketing and Resident Experience team and you need to be well organised with a good understanding of budget management. You will create and manage key relationships across the complex health and Care system in Kent, working with partners to join up messaging, share and promote joint outcomes and help deliver the ambitious Integrate Care strategy.
If this sounds like the opportunity you have been waiting for, don’t delay, apply today.
