Business Support Officer - Northfleet Youth Centre
Role Responsibility
We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Support Officer to join Integrated Children's Services working with the Early Help and Preventative Service (EHPS) in Gravesham. EHPS provides targeted support and open access services to children and young people aged 0-25 as well as their families. We are looking for a motivated and organised person to join the Business Support team based at the Northfleet Youth Centre.
As a Business Support Officer, you will be responsible for providing full confidential administrative support to assist in the smooth running of the service’s Youth provision. Working closely with delivery managers you will be planning and coordinating meetings and bookings, acting confidently as the first point of contact for staff, visitors and partners and supporting the opening and closing of buildings as required.
The role requires someone with excellent organisation and communication skills. You must be able to proactively manage your workload whilst responding to urgent requests and deadlines. You will have strong administrative and IT skills and the ability to collate and manage data. You will also need to demonstrate a confident manner in liaising with the public, professionals, and organisations. The work is interesting, varied and demanding, and we need someone who can make a positive contribution to the success of the team.
Applicants will have an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and be able to demonstrate good communication skills whilst working under pressured timeframes. We are looking for someone who is flexible, as you may be asked to cover evenings. Some travel within the local area may be required.
