Business Support Officer (Digital Partnership)

Help shape the future of Digital Family Services in Kent

Kent County Council is looking for a proactive and digitally-savvy Business Support Officer to join our Family Hubs team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting the development and delivery of our digital offer, helping families across Kent access vital services in innovative ways.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Supporting the development of the Kent Family Hub Digital platform through user research and engagement.
  • Managing and maintaining social media accounts and digital channels to ensure engaging and accessible content.
  • Providing high-quality administrative support to the Service Manager, including meeting coordination, minute-taking, and action tracking.
  • Assisting with recruitment, induction, data analysis, financial monitoring, and sickness absence management.
  • Collaborating with digital and service delivery teams to enhance user experience and service effectiveness.
  • Ensuring secure handling of sensitive information in line with data protection protocols.

What We're Looking For:

  • A Level 2 qualification in Administration or equivalent experience.
  • Strong administrative and financial support skills.
  • Experience managing digital content and social media.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • A good understanding of digital inclusion, accessibility, and safeguarding principles.
  • A commitment to Kent’s values: Brave, Curious, Compassionate, Strong Together, Responsible.
  • Ability to travel across a wide geographical area in a timely and flexible manner at various times of the day is essential.

  • A starting salary of £25,252-£26,262
