Business Support Officer - Dartford & Gravesham

Role Responsibility

We are excited to announce a job opening for a Business Support Officer within our Children's Social Work Team based in The Willows, Dartford & Milton Haig, Gravesend. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families.

Children’s Social Work Services (CSWS) are responsible for the safeguarding and welfare of vulnerable children, young people and their families

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide administrative and operational support to the social work team.

- “live” minutes using a laptop

- Manage schedules, appointments, and communications with clients and team members

- Knowledge of MS Office packages and the ability to use dedicated database applications

- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and documentation

- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with policies and regulations

Requirements:

- Proven experience in administrative support or a similar role

- Strong organisational and communication skills

- Excellent time management skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Commitment to the values and principles of Kent County Council
