Senior Business Support Lead

Kent Enablement at Home (KEaH) supports adults across Kent to regain independence, confidence and daily living skills following illness, hospital admission or changes in circumstances.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Business Support Lead to join our team, with a key focus on supporting our extended hours service (06:30 – 22:00).

This is a pivotal role ensuring consistent, high-quality business support during out-of-hours periods, helping maintain service continuity across Kent Enablement at Home. You will provide leadership, coordination and oversight of business support functions, working closely with senior managers and operational teams to ensure resources are effectively aligned to demand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise Business Support staff, promoting development, resilience and high performance
  • Support service delivery across extended hours, providing continuity and escalation support outside core hours
  • Act as a key point of contact for business processes, queries and operational issues
  • Contribute to workforce planning to ensure effective cover across early mornings, evenings and peak demand periods
  • Oversee data collection, reporting and analysis to support decision-making and service improvement
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to enhance service delivery
  • Lead or contribute to improvement initiatives, projects and business change activity
  • Support statutory processes (e.g. complaints, FOIs, SARs), ensuring compliance and timely responses

  • Has experience of data analysis, reporting and service improvement
  • Demonstrates resilience and sound decision-making under pressure

Proven experience in business support, administration or a care-related environment however, full training and support will be provided.

Additional Information

This role supports service delivery across core and extended hours (06:30 – 22:00)

You will work as part of a flexible rota, with a focus on out-of-hours support, including early mornings, evenings and weekends

Kent Enablement at Home operates 7 days a week, 06:00 – 22:00

This role is considered a customer-facing position

Working patterns and contractual hours will be discussed at interview, in line with service requirements and office base

Appointment is subject to the usual pre-employment checks
