Business Support Officer - Adolescent Early Help Team

Role Responsibility

We are looking for a Business Support Officer to join the Adolescent Early Help Team. This is a demanding and challenging role, and you will need a calm and organised approach, alongside excellent communication skills.  

The Adolescent teams are a fast-paced environment, providing invaluable professional support to Early Help staff in the service. You will liaise with families, professionals and colleagues with responsibilities including arranging and minuting meetings, completing time limited tasks within the Children and Young People’s database, and updating our electronic children’s service case management systems.  

We are looking for a skilled, motivated administrator, proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook. Possessing excellent organisational skills in both managing your own time and supporting others to meet deadlines and performance targets.

The work is varied - you will be expected to deal with a wide range of issues and work collaboratively with colleagues, sharing duties as required throughout the team.

This is a hybrid post (mixture of home working and being office based), we can offer flexibility to what days are worked at home.

This post is subject to a Basic Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
