Business Support Lead - Dover Children's Social Work Team (Maternity Cover)

Role Responsibility

Temporary Full Time - up to 12 months maternity cover.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Support Lead to join the Children’s Social Work Team. The role is based at Dover, Poltons Family Centre, currently with some homeworking.

The role requires excellent organisational and communication skills. As Business Support Lead you will supervise a team of business support staff, ensuring processes and systems are effective, up to date and accurate. You must be able to proactively manage your workload whilst responding to urgent requests and deadlines. You will have strong administrative, minuting and IT skills and the ability to collate and manage data.

You will need to demonstrate a confident manner in liaising with professionals and organisations, acting as a contact point for the service, coordinating a range of meetings and monitoring staff performance. The work is interesting, varied and demanding, and we need someone with a calm and organised approach who can make a positive contribution to the success of the team. We are looking for someone who is flexible and occasional travel within South Kent may be required.
