Business Support Coordinator

Role Responsibility

We are currently looking for a permanent, part-time Business Support Coordinator, Monday-Friday 8.30am-1.30pm to join our busy and fast-paced team within the Thanet Community Service. The role will  be based at our Minnis Community Hub, Birchington. 

Our community service supports adults with learning disabilities with in-house activities and community-based activities, to both support and develop independence and social skills. We require a resourceful and methodical Business Support Coordinator, to provide support and assist in the smooth running of the service, by taking a proactive role in relation to its day-to-day functioning.

The successful applicant must have excellent communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft systems (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams), excellent organisational skills, ability to prioritise and proactively manage their workload whilst responding to urgent requests and deadlines.

Regular duties include:

- Managing phone calls, referring them to the correct & appropriate person

- Minuting regular team meetings

- Purchasing resources and processing expenses

- Process, maintain and monitor financial records

- Keeping spreadsheets and data up to date

- Being available throughout the day to support the team with any queries or requests

- Maintaining and monitor all office systems, including databases and filing systems, both computerised and manual

Office cover is required Monday to Friday.
