Business Support Coordinator

Role Responsibility

This is an exciting role for a motivated person working as an integral part of the Ashford & Canterbury Business Support Team to provide support for a busy team of practitioners within an Adult Social Care & Health Team. The post will be based either at Kroner House, Ashford or Brook House, Whitstable with some home working.

You will be required to assist in the smooth running of the service and take a proactive role in relation to the day-to-day functioning of the office.

We are looking for someone who has excellent literacy, numeracy, and computer skills with a range of IT systems (Microsoft applications, databases etc.,) to ensure a high level of data quality. You will need:

- good organisational and administrative skills to prioritise workloads and work to deadlines in a highly demanding environment.

- to be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.

- to be professional when communicating with people we support, their representatives and other professionals by phone and Email.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer facing position. The Council, therefore, has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
