Business Support Coordinator

Role Responsibility

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Kent Shared Lives Service.

We support our Carers/team/adults and Social Care teams with a wide variety of administrative tasks. 

You will be working within a busy supportive team.

Kent Shared Lives are seeking two part-time or one full-time Business Support Coordinator due to growth of the service, to work within a dedicated team to provide administrative support and complete Carer recruitment tasks within a busy team.

You will have experience in office administration including minute taking, answering, responding to calls and emails.  You will also have knowledge and skills in Word, Excel and Outlook.

You will also be competent in producing and maintaining spread sheets to a high standard, can prioritise your workload, and work to deadlines, and will need to have a confident telephone manner.

Preferred workdays/hours can be discussed during interview. The team operate a hybrid work model that includes a mix of working from home and working from KCC Offices (mostly Kroner House).

This post involves working closely with children and adults and is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
