Business Support Assistant - Open Access
Within Integrated Children’s Services, the Early Help and Preventative Services (EHPS) division provides targeted support and open access services to children and young people aged 0-25 as well as their families.
We require an organised person to join the Business Support Team based at Waterside Children’s Centre, although there will be a requirement to cover other locations in the Ashford District when needed, some of which are in rural areas. Working hours are Wednesday 12.30pm-4.30pm, Thursday 8.30am – 4.30pm and Friday 8.30am – 4.00pm. (18.5 hours in total).
You will be responsible for providing full confidential administrative support to assist in the smooth running of Open Access provision, supporting the opening and closing of buildings as well as being the first point of contact for staff, visitors, and partners.
We are looking for someone with good IT skills, accuracy, and the ability to meet deadlines and to maintain and process accurate and timely records.
This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements.
