Business Manager - Finance Business Support Team

Role Responsibility

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated individual to lead a small team that supports the Corporate Director, Finance, the wider Finance Leadership team and the Finance Division as a whole. The Business Manager, Finance is a key role and the successful applicant will need to be proactive and solution focussed, an excellent communicator and leader, working effectively and collaboratively with others across the organisation and externally in a fast paced, high profile environment.

Your main responsibilities will include providing leadership to deliver an effective business support service within the Finance function, reviewing and continuously improving policies, procedures and processes,  partnership working across the council and with external partners.

This is a permanent full time post, job share applications will be considered.

Please note that the primary location of the role is Invicta House, Maidstone, Kent, with currently both home and office working. Applications from both internal and external candidates are welcomed.
