Attendance Administration Assistant
Role Responsibility
Term Time Only - 39 weeks per year
Virtual School Kent supports children and young people in care to achieve and contribute positively to their communities now and in the future. - be part of a team to gather important attendance data for our young people in care.
- ensure that critical data on attendance is available to support young people’s education outcomes.

This is a term-time only contract, working 4 days a week (29.6 hours) and, due to current staff coverage, you will be required to work on Friday as one of the days.
You will work from home and all equipment will be provided to allow this to happen. Your office base will be Brook House, Whitstable, or Worrall House, Kings Hill, West Malling and you will occasionally be required to attend either office for meetings, to work as a team or when requested to by your line manager.
This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
