Asset Data Officer
Role Responsibility
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Highways Asset Management and Inspections Team as an Asset Data Officer.
This role will play an important part in our delivery of good highway asset management practice across our organisation.
It will also support implementation of improvements in how we carry out planned maintenance of our roads and footways. As a team we deliver hundreds of planned road/footway renewal and preservation schemes each year.
Working as the data expert in our Asset Management Projects team, the role will provide data management and analysis to support our delivery of a wide range of projects and workstreams, including acting as the technical lead on specialist data analysis platforms. It will also involve leading on the delivery of some routine data reporting and benchmarking work.
Key elements of the role will involve processing and analysing highway asset data, monitoring data policies to inform programme and team managers of best practice, and improving the use of Business Intelligence within the team.
This role is subject to a Full UK Driving License – The council is committed to making reasonable adjustments so whilst this job requires the jobholder to drive your application will still be considered if you are unable to drive due to a disability.
