Administration Officer

Role Responsibility

We are looking to recruit a part time Administrator Officer to support the Service Manager and Safeguarding coordinators based in Community Mental Health Team in Tunbridge Wells. We are a busy Mental Health Service and work closely with NHS and other external agencies and no two days are the same.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our service, we are looking for an administrator with excellent administrative and organisation skills, who is proactive to support the Service and to prioritise work to meet deadlines. The post holder will need to be flexible and innovative bringing a range of skills and experience to help to set up and support this service.

You will be required to have an understanding of efficient Administration processes and KCC policies, you will lead on managing the Safeguarding  meetings and your role is central to the effect running of the service. You interface with a wide variety of staff both internally and externally to KCC and you will be required to produce comprehensive minutes, documentation and follow up on actions.

Therefore, it is essential that you have proven minute taking skills and experience along with excellent skills of MS Office packages. You will required to also work on our Social Care system Mosaic which you will received full training for. 

This post will be part of the Mental Health Business Support Team, who are a central support to provide a range of activities supporting the front-line Mental Health business.  We offer regular supervision, support and training to develop you within this team. 

This post is based at Highlands House, Tunbridge Wells, Kent.  Office cover is required Monday to Friday from 9.00am until 17.00pm.  The successful candidate must be able to travel on occasions, as meetings and training are held in different sites across the County.
