Administration Officer

Role Responsibility

Kent Enablement at Home (KEaH) provide domiciliary-based short term enablement services across Kent. We are looking to recruit an Administration Officer to work in a busy office delivering enablement service to people in their own homes.

This is an exciting and multi-faceted post involving the daily use of computerised systems; recording and relaying essential information to all staff involved in the support of an individual, maintenance of records and great emphasis on working as part of the immediate and wider teams. You will also be in day to day contact with individuals using the service supporting them with any queries or problems they may have.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who can demonstrate a capacity to cope with a variety of tasks in a busy office environment dealing with frontline Services.

Key skills required are: good numeric and literacy, excellent communication and telephone skills, knowledge of support in a community setting, attention to detail and accuracy when recording information.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements.
