Administration Officer

Role Responsibility

Meadowside Short Breaks  in Walmer Deal offers overnight residential opportunities for disabled Adults from the age 18 years old. 

We require a resourceful and methodical administration officer, to provide support within a busy office 37 hours a week Monday - Friday.

You will have experience in office administration including banking, invoicing, and budgetary support within a busy office.  You will also have knowledge and skills in Word, Excel and Outlook.

You will also be competent in producing and maintaining spread sheets to a high standard, have the ability to prioritise your workload, and work to deadlines.  You will also have a confident telephone manner.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.

This post involves working closely with children and adults and is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.

Interviews will be conducted under the ‘Choosing with Care’ assessment process, the interviews will take place on Tuesday 21st July and Wednesday 22nd July 2020; you will need to be available on both days for virtual meeting and a formal meeting at Meadowside Short Breaks.
