Young Person's Participation Officer - The Education People
Role Responsibility
We are seeking a Young People’s Participation Officer who will assist with the statutory duty to track young people to identify their education or learning status. You will contact them by telephone, letter and email recording the outcome of the contact on our database. You will have an excellent telephone manner and be able to meet targets on the number of young people you contact.
You will help maintain and develop relationships with schools and colleges to ensure the continuation of good working practices and sharing of data.
You must have excellent communication skills, be organised, able to work to deadlines, be accurate in your work, work well in a team, have good IT skills and be able to empathise with young people.
The post is based in Sessions House Maidstone, but staff are currently working from home.
The working hours of this post are 10am to 6pm.
This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
