Van Driver

Role Responsibility

Do you have a commitment to a customer focused service by placing the customer at the heart of every aspect of your work?

We are seeking applications for a Van Driver within the Kent Libraries, Registration and Archives (LRA) transport team.

The successful applicant will deliver books and other materials to LRA premises, residential homes, and prisons across the county.

This is a permanent part-time position of 14.8 hours per week, based at our central distribution point in Aylesford.

Monday 7am to 3pm

Tuesday 7am to 3pm

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
