Treasury Administration & Quality Assurance Officer

Role Responsibility

We are recruiting for a Treasury Administration and Quality Assurance Officer (KR8) to join Kent County Council’s Treasury & Investments Team, Finance division.  The role is permanent, full-time (37 hours a week).  The primary location for this role is Maidstone, Kent, the successful candidate will undertake hybrid working (both home and office working, according to business needs). We welcome applications from both internal and external applicants.

Base location will be Sessions House, although the team are currently undertaking hybrid working at home and at Invicta House, Maidstone

The post holder will work within an experienced and successful treasury and investments team. Undertaking an important role within the team, you will be principally responsible for providing the back office support to the treasury management function, as well as administrative support for the council’s cash and banking operations. You will also maintain accounting records for the treasury and investment activity as well as the Pension Fund. Experience of working in a finance environment is expected, as is a good understanding of financial systems and control process.  Please see attached job description/person specification for further details.
