Trading Standards Officer - Animal Health

Role Responsibility

We are looking to recruit a self-motivated, dedicated person with regulatory or criminal enforcement experience to join our Food Chain Team, with specific responsibility for dealing with animal health and welfare.

In this position you will be enforcing animal health and welfare legislation, visiting farms, livestock markets and abattoirs, providing advice and guidance to the farming community and responding to incidents. This position provides a unique opportunity to develop your skills and career.
