Technology Solutions Officer

Role Responsibility

The Technology Division has an exciting opportunity for a Technology Solutions Officer to join this expanding team within the Council. This role will be involved in commissioning multiple technology projects, working with other members of the technology team to help Council services to define their business needs and identify how technology could help them meet those needs. You will work with KCC Business Partners and technology partners to create an appropriate solution design, and commission the implementation of the solution. We are looking for an individual who has experience of defining and documenting business requirements or defining business/technology specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience of public sector procurement/purchasing, working on projects as part of a team and have interest and passion towards technology. Commissioners benefit from having a broad range of experience and skills; therefore, previous experience of commissioning is not strictly necessary.
