Technology Manager (Cloud & Data Centre)

Role Responsibility

An exciting opportunity to lead and manage the delivery of cloud and data centre solutions for Kent County Council.

Are you an experienced and innovative Technology Manager or Architect with a passion for cloud and data centre solutions? Do you have the skills and knowledge to set the strategic direction and priorities for how service providers deliver cloud and data centre services for Kent County Council (KCC) staff and partners using Microsoft, Azure, and other relevant technologies? If so, this could be the role for you!

You will be part of the Strategy & Enterprise Architecture Team and will work closely with the Chief Technology Officer and IT Infrastructure teams to ensure the alignment of cloud and data centre solutions with KCC Technology strategy and policies, plus relevant standards and regulations, such as GDPR, ISO 27001, and Cyber Essentials. You will also provide expert advice and guidance to KCC and our Local Authority Trading Company (LATCO) on cloud and data centre issues and best practices, plus deliver reports, roadmaps, training, and documentation as required.
