Team Manager - Promoting and Supporting Independence Team – Dover/Deal

Role Responsibility

If you are a Registered Social Worker with supervisory and operational management experience in Adult Social Care, then we want to hear from you.

 As a Team Manager you will manage Senior Practitioners, Registered Practitioners, and unregistered staff. You will be responsible for the operational delivery of Older People and Physical Disability (OPPD) services against the annual operational business plan. Ensuring that our service users are supported to achieve their outcomes. The service is also increasingly accessible to the public outside of traditional office hours, as we move towards an 8 am to 8 pm, 7 days a week service.

This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure application to the Disclosure and Barring service and registration as a qualified Social Worker with Social Work England.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.

Mileage expenses are payable, and applicants will be expected to be able to travel across a geographic area which may not be easily accessible by public transport.
