Team Leader

Role Responsibility

Broadmeadow Registered Care Centre are looking for a Permanent Team Leader. You must be flexible, reliable and willing to work a rota which will include early and late shifts, weekends and bank holidays. You should have an NVQ 3 in care or demonstrate a willingness to undertake NVQ 3 and all other mandatory training that will be essential for the role.

You should have experience in health and social care including health and safety knowledge and the administration of medication and a good understanding of CQC. You must have good communication skills and the ability to interact with service users and their families. You will need to show supervisory skills as you will be in charge of a team whilst on duty.

The successful applicant will need to complete a full induction programme.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
