Team Coordinator Position at Meadowside in Deal

Meadowside in Deal offers overnight residential stays for individuals with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and/or autism. We are currently seeking a part-time Team Coordinator to join our team for 16 hours per week.

Role Overview: We are looking for a flexible, collaborative individual who shares our commitment to improving outcomes for adults. As a Team Coordinator, you will lead shifts and work as part of a team to provide a nurturing and safe environment that promotes the emotional and physical well-being of adults accessing our overnight residential short breaks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate shift plans and ensure accurate record-keeping (quality assurance)
  • Liaise with other professionals and manage care planning
  • Perform personal care tasks and provide supervision and support to staff
  • Monitor standards of care

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification in health and social care (or equivalent)
  • Experience supporting people with disabilities and complex needs
  • Supervisory management experience
  • Knowledge of safeguarding practices
  • Ability to take personal and professional responsibility for actions and performance
  • Willingness to work shift patterns, including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-in/night duties

This post involves working closely with 16 year olds and over.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.

This is role is based in Deal Kent, England.  All applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
