Role Responsibility

An exciting opportunity for a Support Worker has arisen to join Kent Pathways Service.

Kent Pathways Service (KPS) is looking for someone who has, or who is willing to gain experience working with people within Health and Social Care. KPS supports young people from 16 years old, including people with Autism, learning disabilities, Mental Health into Adult services. We provide short term outcome focused support for up to 12 weeks to enable people to reach their maximum potential in targeted areas of their life.

KPS keeps the individuals at the centre of everything we do. We are looking for someone who is flexible, motivated, be able to work autonomously and have an empathetic approach.

The position we are recruiting will cover County of Kent, therefore, the ability to travel across a wide geographical area in a timely manner is required.

KPS invests in staff, offering training, opportunities to work towards Care certificate, Diplomas in Health and Social Care, development opportunities within the team or wider Enablement teams.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
