You will receive a full induction, comprehensive training, and regular supervision. We also offer ongoing opportunities to develop your skills and gain further qualifications through our learning and development programmes.

As a Support Worker at Whitstable Road, you will make a real difference to the people who stay with us.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting people to enjoy their break and engage in meaningful activities
  • Helping individuals achieve their personal goals
  • Providing support with personal care, medication and health needs
  • Maintaining a safe, comfortable and person‑centred environment
  • Working collaboratively with families, carers, and external professionals

Salary and Enhancements

 Additional financial benefits include:

  • Sleep‑in allowance of £40.76 per night - adding just one sleep‑in per week could increase your salary by around £2,000 per year
  • Enhanced pay for Bank Holidays

  • 10% discount on Adult Education courses
  • 27 days annual leave (pro‑rata) plus Bank Holidays

  • A Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent), or willingness to achieve this within two years
  • Completion of the Care Certificate if not already held

  • Knowledge of safeguarding responsibilities
  • Ability to take personal and professional responsibility for your practice
