Street Lighting Engineer

Role Responsibility

An opportunity has arisen for a Street Lighting Engineer to assist in the management of the street lighting asset and delivery of the programme of street lighting improvement schemes.

You will support the Street Lighting Planned Works Team Leader and be part of the team responsible for the investigation and resolution of street lighting  faults and enquiries. The role will require you to work closely with our partners to plan, repairs, renewals and improvements. You should be able to demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills, be organised, be able to manage your time to respond to the demands on the service.   You will be required  to assist other service areas, developers and third parties on the lighting aspects of their works.

Experience of working within the  street lighting environment  is essential.

The post will be a KR9 full time position based at Ashford Depot.

Driving licence essential. Vehicle will be provided.
