Payroll Control Team Assistant

Role Responsibility

Cantium Business Solutions Centre provides Payroll, Recruitment and HR services to KCC, School customers, NHS Trusts, external partners and organisations. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with the capability to work in a fast paced and challenging environment to help us deliver our diverse and professional services within tight deadlines.

We currently have a temporary vacancy for up to 12 months to cover for a secondment in our Payroll Control Team. In this role, you will be part of a committed, flexible, highly skilled team and will deal with the processing, control and reconciliation of all payrolls, ensuring these are delivered accurately and on time. You will be responsible for ensuring all statutory requirements are met within the pre-defined timescales, alongside managing and meeting all service level agreements. This role involves balancing client payroll services and managing the production and checking of payroll reports across our varied customer base. Utilising your payroll knowledge, Excel and Word IT skills, you will extract and collate data for various pension and payroll reports.

Offering advice and solutions to our customers, you will ensure they receive a consistent and professional high level of service. Maintaining a good working relationship with customers is critical to the role, and you will use your communication skills to ensure the successful delivery of high customer satisfaction. Part of your responsibilities will involve close working with the Operational Services Teams to ensure our high standard of customer service is maintained.
