Skills for Life Lecturer - UASC

Role Responsibility

You will be joining an expanding team within Kent Training and Apprenticeships, teaching and working with Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children (UASC), 16-18 year olds. You should have proven experience of teaching 16-18 year olds, ESOL and be willing to teach Functional Skills maths at entry level. You must be willing to develop your CPD and work with other teams within Community, Learning and Skills. This exciting role will allow you to develop your skills and work in an environment that is both challenging and rewarding.

UASC students require teachers that have empathy and experience of working with vulnerable young people, and who are dedicated in the development of their education. Understanding the situation that many of the young people face will be of benefit to your ability to work with this group of students.

Your base will be in the Dartford Adult Education Centre.
