Service Manager - Business Support

Role Responsibility

An interesting opportunity has arisen within Libraries, Registration & Archives for a Business Support Manager

We are looking for a highly motivated and capable manager to lead our business support team, coordinating key service areas including finance, personnel, health & safety and business continuity.

This is a challenging role, with both individual responsibilities and staff management of a diverse range of business critical functions supporting the entire service.

The Business Support Manager is a member of the Libraries, Registration & Archives Management Team, actively involved with planning, developing and shaping the service for the future.

Libraries, Registration & Archives are a public facing, customer focused service, with Library branches and Registration offices across the County. We also manage Registration services on behalf of the London Borough of Bexley. Our business support team engages with all aspects of the service and its customers both internal and external.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements.
