Senior Technical Performance Analyst

Role Responsibility

A challenging and rewarding opportunity has become available for someone with a passion for social care, technology, and everything data within the Adult Social Care Performance Team as Senior Technical Performance Analyst.

The Adult Social Care Performance Team is responsible for developing and implementing Meaningful Measures, a framework that aims to improve the quality and impact of social care services, using various sources of data and information to monitor, evaluate and report on the performance and outcomes of social care provision across different areas of business.  The team supports and advises senior managers and stakeholders on evidence-based decision making and service improvement.

You will lead on the design, development and maintenance of the reporting architecture and tools that enable the team to access, analyse and present accurate and timely social care information. You will also use your analytical skills and knowledge to produce and interpret data, providing insight and recommendations on the performance and outcomes of social care services, and you will work closely with other members of the team, as well as other teams and partners across the organisation, to ensure that the reporting solutions meet the needs and expectations of the users and stakeholders.

You will need to have excellent technical skills and knowledge of data management, analysis and reporting, using tools such as SSMS, Power BI, Excel and other office 365 applications, have a strong understanding of social care data and information, including national and local standards, definitions and indicators and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to present complex information in a clear and engaging way to different audiences.

As well as meeting the Job Description and Person Specification, you will also be highly organised, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. 

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
