Senior Sense of Belonging Therapist

Role Responsibility

The Placement Stability Team works with colleagues across the Local Authority within Corporate Parenting and Children’s Services to promote placement stability and increase understanding of the therapeutic needs of children placed in foster care. The team provides a child-centred outcome-focused fostering support service to children who are fostered through Kent County Council with the aim of enhancing placement stability.

This is an exciting time to join the team and we are looking for an experienced clinical therapist to enhance the support given to foster carers by providing specialist advice to the professional network where therapeutic input is needed for children in Kent County Council foster care placements.

If you have extensive clinical experience, have the ability to think strategically and analytically and want to be part of a dynamic, forward thinking service, we are keen to hear from you.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
