An exciting opportunity has arisen in the West Kent South Promoting Independence Team for a Senior Practitioner Occupational Therapist. This service assesses and provides solutions to enable older people and adults with physical disabilities, to maximise their independence.

Our Occupational Therapists provide holistic, person-centred assessments, identify goals, support enablement workers to deliver purposeful interventions, prescribe specialist equipment and adaptations and work with the Local District Councils to arrange major adaptations in people’s homes.

We are looking for a dynamic and confident practitioner with experience of working in a fast-paced, high pressured environment. You should have a diverse range of post qualifying experience within health and social care, as well as experience of major adaptations and specialist equipment.

You will be leading and managing the team’s performance to provide a high-quality occupational therapy service across the geographical area.
