Senior Pension Fund Finance Officer

Role Responsibility

An exciting opportunity has arisen relating to maternity cover, for the full-time role of Senior Pension Fund Finance Officer, in the Treasury and Investments Team, KCC Finance. This cover is likely to require commencement in October 2020, for a period of up to 12 months. This role would normally be based at Sessions House, Maidstone, but due to current Covid-19 conditions, remote working from home would be involved.

As a Senior Pension Fund Finance Officer you will play a key role assisting the management of the Pension fund and the day-to-day operation of it. This role is fundamental in supporting the financial interests of KCC and the funding and investment of the pension fund as well as assisting other colleagues in the Treasury and Investments Team.

The role of Senior Pension Fund Finance Officer covers a variety of tasks centred around financial reporting, administration and monitoring. You will need an interest in finance and investments, be organised and be able to give high attention to detail as well as a working knowledge of finance systems and experience of Microsoft office applications. Most importantly, this role requires team working and the ability to liaise with others to retrieve and manage information.
