Senior Pension Administrator
Role Responsibility
Due to internal promotions within our team, we’re excited to be recruiting multiple Senior Pension Administrators to join our friendly, high‑performing Pensions Team at Kent County Council. If you're an experienced Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) administrator looking for your next step, we’d love to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing
As a key part of our Pensions Section at Kent Pension Fund, you’ll play an important role in delivering a high‑quality pension administration service. You’ll handle and check complex casework (including transfers and pensioner benefits) and help to ensure our members receive an exceptional service every time.
You’ll be supported by knowledgeable colleagues, but you’ll also bring strong experience and a solid understanding of the LGPS regulations and best practice.
Working Arrangements
Your main base will be Maidstone, with a hybrid working pattern that blends home and office, dependent on business needs. Whilst this advert is for full time positions that are available, we also welcome applications from candidates willing to work at least 18 hours a week.
How To Apply
To help us understand your fit for the role, please clearly outline your Local Government pensions administration experience in the "how you meet the requirements" section of your application. Full details are in the Job Description and Person Specification.
This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
