Senior Management Information Officer
Role Responsibility
A vacancy for a Senior Management Information Officer has arisen within our Children, Young People and Education Management Information & Intelligence team. The post-holder will be responsible for leading all data and reporting elements of the Troubled Families programme, as well as supporting other government-funded multi-agency projects. The Troubled Families programme is embedded within our Early Help service and this role involves the collaborative use of multi-agency data to identify risk and support the service to improve outcomes for children and their families in Kent.
We are specifically looking for an experienced manager who can demonstrate:
- Strong analytical skills, ideally with experience of producing and analysing local authority data;
- Advanced Excel skills and be competent at producing, analysing and summarising large and complex datasets from a range of multi-agency sources;
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly and concisely present data and information;
- Specialist and technical knowledge and understanding of data analysis and statistical techniques; and
- Experience of staff and project management
The successful candidate will be expected to work with a high degree of autonomy, have a proactive approach and engage with stakeholders from across the Council and partner organisations.
