Senior Engagement Officer
Role Responsibility
We currently have a new and exciting job opportunity as Senior Engagement Officer to join our collaborative, supportive and customer-focused programme. As Senior Engagement Officer you will be responsible for contributing to the Financial Hardship Programme objectives, with a focus on Residential-funded projects and schemes (including, but not limited to, Strengthening Referrals, Data Sharing and Free School Meals). The role will also support the wider programme, including the business and digital workstreams, working closely together with colleagues in our ‘one programme’ approach.
The role newly created, flexible and impactful and fixed-term until March 2025. The successful candidate will engage, inspire and motivate stakeholders and service users to be involved with our programmes, projects and schemes, providing support to the wider team.
As a programme, our team are working flexibly. The expectation that successful candidates will work from home with travel around the county, with occasional visits to our offices (we currently go in one to two days a week).
This role is subject to holding a Full UK Driving Licence – The Council is committed to making reasonable adjustments so whilst this job requires the jobholder to drive your application will still be considered if you are unable to drive due to a disability.
The post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
The role is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
