Senior Business Support Officer

The Kent and Medway Learning Disability and Autism Programme are in search of a dedicated Senior Business Support Officer to become a valued member of our friendly team. We are an integrated, multi-agency team committed to collaborative working and improving outcomes for neurodiverse people and their families living in Kent and Medway. 

The Senior Business Support Officer will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive support to ensure the effective operation of our team and the successful delivery of our programmes and initiatives. This role involves working closely with various stakeholders, including people with lived experience, local authorities, healthcare providers, and community organisations, to drive forward our objectives to improve services, and promote equality and inclusion for individuals with learning disabilities and autism.

A keen eye for detail alongside excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role. You will have excellent IT skills and a comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience in budget and performance reporting would be an advantage, full training will be provided on internal systems and processes.

We will work closely with you to agree shared objectives through regular good conversations, annual appraisals and training opportunities.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
